Growing up immersed in Ayurveda and Homeopathy, with a mother who is a homeopathy practitioner and educator, I am always drawn to the holistic approach to health and wellness. As an Ayurveda Practitioner and Panchkarma Specialist in DFW, I am deeply passionate about integrating scientific methods into alternative healthcare practices. This ancient science of life, has equipped me with invaluable tools for promoting longevity, vitality, and purposeful living.
My journey in Ayurveda has been a journey of discovery, delving into its principles, the significance of tailored diets, therapeutic modalities, and the transformative power of Panchakarma detoxification. With a bachelor’s degree in Ayurveda, I was inspired to deepen my understanding of this profound science. Pursuing an MD in Ayurveda allowed me to specialize in addressing learning disabilities and Enuresis (Bedwetting) in children, revealing the pivotal role of diet, herbal remedies, lifestyle adjustments, and mental well-being in overall health.
This personal journey has equipped me with a deep understanding and practical knowledge of Ayurveda, which I bring to every client I serve. as an Ayurveda Practitioner.
Marriage brought me to the United States. As a new immigrant, I perceived the need for fully Qualified Ayurveda practitioners to help people suffering from chronic illnesses using a holistic approach. I also wanted to deliver authentic knowledge of Ayurveda to the community. This led to the creation of AyurRoots Ayurveda Wellness Center in DFW. Has it been a smooth road?
I am convinced that smooth, linear evolution paths happen only in mathematical hypotheses or dreams. The journey has been composed of cliffs, Mobius strips, and surprise pitfalls. The major challenge is the lack of proper awareness.
Ayurveda is still unknown to most people in the Western world, including the common man and other healthcare providers. This lack of exposure has been more challenging as insurance companies do not cover Ayurveda treatments in their healthcare plans. However, there is increased awareness about all complementary and alternative healthcare services.
